Multi-Sensory Art and Music Party

  • The Commons Space 587a College Street Toronto, ON, M6G 1B2 Canada (map)

No floods or fires can keep us down! We're back with a multi-room, multi-sensory art party at The Commons (College St @ Manning Ave), featuring innovative audiovisual music performers, video art screenings, and food by local caterers. Celebrating fond remembrances of the original Whippersnapper Gallery location.

This event is sponsored by Brick & Mortar, Wellington Brewery and Ed Video Media Art Centre.

Performances by:

Future Peers
We're not quite sure if Future Peers are holed up in a post-apocalyptic bunker or the hull of a space ship but one thing is for certain, wherever they are these guys are having a blast. Performing brand new songs from their forthcoming album...hear it here first!

Witch Prophet
Witch Prophet is an evolution of Toronto based, Ethiopian/Eritrean singer/songwriter Ayo Leilani. A soundscape of vocal layers, loops and harmonies on a bed of hip hop, jazz and soul inspired beats.

Powerful instrumental music, live looping bass guitar, responsive cymatic and marbled projections that visualize sound. Pink Floyd meets Jackson Pollock. Toronto's original jazz painters.
