Yoni Steam Pre-Blended Herbs
Yoni Steaming is seeing a revival as women are more and more getting in touch with a more holistic connection to their bodies and claiming divine autonomy in their dedication to self-care.
The ancient practice of Vaginal Steaming has been used by many cultures to help with chronic menstrual disorders and infertility. Different than the idea of ‘douching’ - which is a dangerous way of trying to clean the vagina, yoni steaming is a practice of sitting over a pot of steaming medicinal herbs. The heat from the steam helps to increase circulation and brings fresh oxygenated blood to the tissues. The vapour from the steaming herbs also carries volatile oils that promote cleansing of the womb space and help to strengthen and tone the tissues. Yoni steaming is also know as Bajos, V-steam, or Chai-yok.
Not only is yoni steaming pleasurable & grounding, it can ease & improve a variety of conditions, including but not limited to the following…
Infertility
Painful period
Fibroids, Cysts
Endometriosis, Adenomyosis
Uterine weakness, Uterine prolapse
Irregular menstruation-heavy, light, prolonged, clots
Infections, bacteria imbalances, yeast/fungal growths, odours
Sores, Wounds, Blisters
Postpartum discomfort
Pre-menstrual symptoms, Menopausal symptoms

Steaming with our specifically-formulated herbal blends can help to cleanse stagnant blood left in the uterus, regulate the menstrual cycle, and even help to balance hormones. The herbal blends we’ve selected also speed healing and tonification after child birth, improve blood quality, increase blood circulation, warm the uterus, and can help energetically release stored emotions.
In addition, many women enjoy the practice of yoni steaming simply because it feels good! It’s relaxing, and encourages us to slow down, take time for ourselves, & connect consciously to our womb space.
We recommend yoni steaming while listening to a womb healing meditation. Alternatively, you can simply bring awareness to your breath & womb space while steaming, and visualize your intention for the steam.
There are three blends to choose from:
Full Moon : Blessing blend
New Moon: Nourishing blend
Transition Moon: Releiving blend
When NOT to steam…
As with most health practices, there are times when steaming is not a good idea. It is not ok to steam if you have an IUD. The steam can cause the uterus to contract and move, which can compromise the position and efficacy of the device. For this same reason, do not steam during pregnancy, as the contractions of the uterus and the cleansing of excess tissue build up can cause a potential miscarriage. Do not steam if you have an infection, fever or open sores and blisters. The steam can aggravate the condition - think of it as adding more heat to a fire. Lastly, do not steam during menstruation. You are already in the process of shedding the uterus lining, and this is already an energetically exhausting process. This is the time for relaxing and honouring the womb space, adding any extra stimulation can cause heavy bleeding, intense cramping and discomfort.
How often is it recommended to steam?
General Self Care: 1-4 times per month
Pain, Cramps, Bloating, Exhaustion: 2-3 times the week before menstruation
Fertility Concerns: 1-2 times per week
Postpartum Healing: 2-3 times per week for 4 weeks
Menopausal Complaints or Maintenance: 3-4 times per year
